Do you yearn for a place and time to cut loose, play and revel in the beauty of nature, community and ecstatic living?

Do you long to rekindle the magic, adventure, and limitless possibilities of SUMMER that you experienced as a child?

And do you like to connect with conscious, deep and adventurous people?

If so, you’re going to LOVE the River of Bliss!

In the western world today, our lives can be so full of adult
responsibilities, commitments and, for many of us, being of service.
We can all get a bit too serious and lose the spark of joy that makes life
worth living.

That’s when we need to reclaim our sense of play.

There’s no better way to do that than to reconnect with the natural
world, and particularly through the natural beauty and serpentine
power of a RIVER. A beautiful river feeds our body and soul and brings out our adventurous child.

A river brings us HOME to ourselves.

It’s a place to joyfully reconnect with the wonder of Mother Earth and sink into her rhythms and cycles, washing away the stresses of digital communication, deadlines and commuting to re-invigorate ourselves naturally.

A Summer Camp for Conscious Adults

Did you ever go to summer camp? Or have other delicious summer
adventures where you had a ton of fun, met new friends, spent lots of time
outside in nature and connected to something larger than yourself?

Remember, for a moment, a time when life was full of genuine joy
– that natural effervescence that is your birthright

We want to invite you to recapture that quality by communing
with us at our adult summer camp!

The River of Bliss is affectionately known as a “Restival” — a place where you can

restore, play in the sun, expand yourself, and dive deep in a
deliciously spontaneous way!

You’ll experience the freedom of dancing barefoot, jumping in the water
on a warm summer afternoon, singing around the campfire, lazily listening to
the sounds of a rushing river, meeting new friends, being silly, hearing the
crickets while you lie under the stars, relaxing in a hammock and getting a
whole lot more free in your body...

Sound like fun to you?

If so, you’ll really love this summer gathering. It’s a chance to allow your spirit to dance and your heart to open!

We can promise you that your spirit will come alive when you experience the magic of being on the river in a sacred community of playful friends...

Real Transformation (In a Delightful Way)

The River of Bliss brings a "transformational twist" to adult
summer camp, including rafting on Class 3 rapids, healthy gourmet
meals, experiential movement, yoga classes, mindfulness meditation,
inspirational playshops and being together in a “tribe,”, connecting with
each other in fun and intimate ways.

By day, we’ll playfully explore consciousness and joyful
through experiential workshops and playshops all held
in a container of love.

At night, you’ll enjoy a wonderful cast of kirtan performers, beloved musicians and amazing DJs from the Bay Area’s popular Conscious Dance, Ecstatic Dance and 5Rhythms/Open Floor communities. They’ll be overflowing with groovy tunes so we can dance to our heart’s content under the stars.

In this sacred and nurturing container, you’ll have ample
opportunity to get more intimate with yourself and others.
Your spirit and nervous system will be deeply rejuvenated by
this celebratory sanctuary time.

I had one of the richest weekends of my life – fun, deep, interesting, loving & balancing. Thank you.
– Will Schneider, Sebastopol, CA

We have had such a good time at the River of Bliss over the years that I chose to celebrate my 40th Birthday with a circle of friends who joined me for this trip. And then my husband (Stephen) and I also celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary on this trip, also inviting some of our staff to join us. So it is our joy to step in even deeper this year, now producing this trip here at Shift Network. It’s one of the highlights of my summer each year!

The Setting

Wilderness ambiance with the comforts of home! Our camp is quiet and nature based because it is private and available only to our guests. Offering convenience featuring plenty of bathrooms and hot showers.

The camp is situated on 19+ gorgeous riverside acres graced with heritage oaks which shade our multiple areas of verdant cool grass. A half mile of riverfront offers multiple charming eddies all connected by our Nature Trail. Explore, then sit and chill as you watch the sunset and listen to the river.

We conveniently raft right from the property and are transported back in environmentally-friendly biodiesel buses. (We take pride in this, along with other sustainable measures we practice, including the use of solar power for electricity and heating water, creating a very low carbon footprint.

The property also features an onsite Zipline and Challenge Ropes Course, providing additional thrills.

We invite you to explore and participate in any activity of interest, and connect with others at your own pace.
